SESSION INFORMATION
This page will inform you how the sessions run, what we get up to in the sessions, and pick up times
WHAT HAPPENS?
Children from Key Stage 1 and 2 can attend Artclub, provided they are at least 5 years old
The club takes place at the KS1 site
We meet and collect KS2 children from the KS2 playground. We collect KS1 children from their classrooms
At the start of the session, Children are given a healthy snack whilst we register them, and then we get on with doing the project!
Children must be promptly at 5:15pm from the KS1 main entrance
WHAT DO WE DO?
Kidzone brings the idea for the project, as well as all the associated materials. Though, the project is not prescriptive and children can make what they like with the materials!
Whilst the project is a focussed activity, the most important thing is we want the children to have fun!
CREATIVE PLAY
Towards the end of the session, we have play out time, which is within the playground and observed by our staff
This is a great time to release the creative energies, play games and socialise
Also, the children get one biscuit each!
HOME TIME
Home time is 5.15pm, and just before then we make finishing touches to the work, tidy up (with the help of the children!),
put our outdoor clothes on, then the children take their work to queue outside the room
Then, we make our way to the main entrance, to meet YOU
